The Vortex of Hell
I am seemingly at the vortex of hell. The Sierra’s are staying at about 88* while the surrounding areas are literally on fire. The most current Mosquito Fire is less than 2 hours west of my location. The winds are blowing to the Northeast so the smoke is not yet effecting our area. However the sky is a bit hazy with smoke and a slight wind change could alter air quality for the worse.
The nearby river is a good place to stay cool during times like these. I make sure Luna stays in the shallow end. She is not a buoyant dog. I hope you all are finding a way to stay cool and keeping out of harms way. A challange for us all. Aloha – Sifu Z n Luna

I came across this creature last night and I’m not sure what it was. My guess is a porcupine… maybe? It was huge about the size of my dog and fearless.

North Shore Wing Chun – Tahoe
The stage is set and now we go forth upon the adventure of gathering the players. It only seems appropriate to deem the next up and coming future warriors of humanity as – “North Shore Wing Chun” being a homage to the very first club on da North Shore in Haleiwa “North Shore Wing Chun Club” circa 1994.
I will most likely maintain similar rates as US Wing Chun so as to accommodate the fellow practitioners that visit Tahoe from the bay area. To start I will be offering Monday and Tuesday evenings at 7pm. We will add more training days as the group progresses.
Summer sessions will be in Tahoe City at a given outdoor location. Winter sessions will be held indoors. Those interested in signing up for classes should contact me directly via this site.
